Domaine Vincent Dauvissat Chablis Vaillons 2022 is a full-bodied Premier Cru Chablis from the climat of Vaillons. Domaine Vincent Dauvissat produces some of the region’s most complex and age-worthy Chardonnays. Established in the 1970s by Robert Dauvissat, the domaine has been passed down from father to son for three generations. Vincent is now in charge of cellar and has helped to cement his family`s status as the pre-eminent name in Chablis winemaking. The soil of Chablis Vaillons soil, which is relatively shallow with a subsoil dense in Kimmeridgian limestone, bears striking similarities with that of the Chablis Grands Crus on the other side of Chablis village. Vaillons Chablis tend to be floral and relatively restrained yet with the intense minerality which is characteristic of Chardonnays produced in the region’s best limestone soils.
