William Fèvre Chablis Bougros Côte Bouguerots 2014 is a full-bodied Chardonnay white wine from the Grand Cru climat of Les Bouguerots in the Chablis appellation of Burgundy. Founded in 1959, Domaine William Fèvre has in recent years emerged as one of the most-respected quality-focused wine producers in the Chablis region. This 2014 wine is from the domaine`s 2.25ha vineyard holding in Grand Cru of Les Bougerots. This vineyard sits on a very steep slope, with a gradient of more than 30%, facing due south at the foot of the hill. The shallow soil, a mixture of clay and gravel, prevents excessive yields resulting in complex, robust wines. A Chardonnay with a complex and mineral bouquet, powerful and dense structure with pleasant roundness.
