Merchant's description

Domaine William Fèvre is often considered as a benchmark for quality and terroir expression in the region of Chablis. Using fruit from many of the most prestigious vineyards across the appellation, vinification is very traditional with fermentation and maturation on fine lees undertaken in a combination of stainless and seasoned oak (ave. 6 years old). The 2016 Vaudésir Grand Cru is bold and powerful, but has wonderful aromatic prettiness and considerable mineral depth. It is chiselled and precise, with excellent mid-palate concentration, incisive acids and a wonderfully long, spice-tinged finish. This would be absolutely superb with almost any seafood or shellfish, particularly oysters.
