Merchant's description

Domaine Prieuré Roch was established by the late Henry-Frédéric Roch who came to prominence as the co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The philosophy of the domaine is built upon producing exceptionally limited wines from old, organically-farmed vines. The Chambertin Close de Béze is a complex and generous wine with beautiful balance of freshness, concentration and elegance. 2017 was generally regarded as a good vintage for red Burgundy with plenty of early drinking appeal.
