With more than 500 years of history, Domaine Comte Georges de de Vogüé is one of the most famous wine producers in Chambolle-Musigny. Today the estate is headed by its 20th generation – Claire de Causans and Marie de Ladoucette, the granddaughters of the late Comte Georges de Vogüé. The 1995 vintage of the Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru is in a perfectly mature stage. The wine is expressive and forward, offering notes of red fruit, sous-bois, hints of truffle and a classic Chambolle minerality.
