Merchant's description

Château de Chambrun sits beside Pomerol`s finest terroir and produces a Merlot-led (90%) blend with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon that punches well above its Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. The 2020 is soft, supple and creamy, with sweet black cherry and plum fruit, dark chocolate and gentle earthy, floral undertones. Tannins are silky rather than gripping, giving immediate pleasure without sacrificing depth. Already delicious, it will continue to develop nicely to around 2035. A generous, food-friendly red for duck, beef or a well-aged Comté.
