Merchant's description

Drink it now or cellar for up to 8 years. No need to decant. Serve it chilled. Founded in 1985 by Alain Thienot, the Thienot Champagne House is a young winery that has quickly become one of the most renowned companies in the region. Located in Taissy, near Reims, the company is now led by Alain's sons, Garance and Stanislas Thiénot. The cellar operations are managed by Laurent Fédou. Champagne Brut from Maison Thienot is a blend of the traditional grape varieties of the region, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier with an addition of 35-45% of reserve wines, which guarantees the production of a wine that best represents the style of the company. After the first fermentation, the wine rests on its lees for 4 years. This delicate and fresh Champagne reveals a brilliant color with golden tones and a fine and persistent perlage. Its aromatic profile is exuberant with intense fruity notes of apple, pear, peach and quince. On the palate it is round and juicy, lively and well balanced, with a creamy texture and a good fruit concentration. The finish is long and fresh. Serve it chilled for an elegant aperitif, or taste it with oysters, shellfish, sushi or a fish tartare.
