Domaine Pierre Damoy Chapelle-Chambertin 1996 is a mature-vintage red Burgundy from the Grand Cru climat of Chapelle-Chambertin in the Gevrey-Chambertin commune of the Côte de Nuits. Pierre Damoy is a family-owned estate in Gevrey-Chambertin, famous for producing structured, terroir-driven wines. Pierre has been in charge of the Domaine since 1992, when he took it over from his uncle Jacques Damoy. This particular release is from Chapelle-Chambertin, a Grand Cru vineyard where Damoy owns a small plot of old vines.
