Established in 1983, Denis Bachelet is a boutique domaine that has created a loyal following around its small-production wines. The estate comprises 3.99 hectares of vineyards across different appellations and the vines are cultivated using ‘lutte raisonnée’. This Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is made from very old vines planted from 1907 to 1917. Grapes are entirely destemmed, and fermentation uses only natural yeasts. The wine is then aged in oak for up to 18 months before bottling.
