Merchant's description
Château Chasse-Spleen is a wonderful Left Bank property in the district of Moulis-en-Médoc. From the excellent 2000 vintage, this is a classically broad-shouldered and firm release, composed mostly of Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Petit Verdot. Now in its peak drinking window, this offers classical notes of black cherry, blackberry, wild herbs and tobacco. Decanting is recommended.
