Château Musar 2002 is a full-bodied red blend from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, produced by the Hochar family. This vintage comprises 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cinsault and 10% Carignan. The vineyards, situated at altitudes of 1,000 to 1,400 metres, benefit from a unique terroir characterised by clay-limestone soils and a Mediterranean climate. This mature bottling displays aromas of spicy red and black berry fruits, cedar and deeper plum notes. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-flavoured, delivering generous red and dark fruits alongside notes of Christmas cake spices, figs, dates and stewed plums, all supported by a lively acidity and silky tannins.
