Merchant's description
Château Cheval Blanc is the iconic Saint-Émilion estate which produces some of the most sought-after wines in the world. Unlike many estates from the surrounding area, Cheval Blanc has the luxury of a variety of terroirs, planted with the typical Right Bank varieties. Very much a Cabernet Franc vintage, the 1980 Cheval Blanc is an aromatic wine, quite mature, with well-integrated oak.
