Vallepicciola Chianti Classico 2021 is a full-bodied red wine produced from Sangiovese grapes in the Tuscany region of central Italy. The Vallepicciola estate spans 107ha and is nestled in the rolling hills of Chianti Classico, 10 minutes from the city of Siena. The estate`s Chianti Classico 2021 is produced from estate-grown Sangiovese grapes growing on marl and Alberese (limestone) soil. The wine is fermented then aged in large oak barrels for 10 months, before a further 6-8 months in second use barriques. Followed by a further 3-5 months in bottle before release. Except classic ripe cherry and blackberry fruit and plum notes, with spicy and floral hints. Refreshing yet with good structure and soft, refined tannins.
