Merchant's description
Château Climens 2009 is a First Growth sweet wine from Barsac in Bordeaux. This magnum is produced entirely from Sémillon vines grown on red clay and limestone soils. It displays a luminous gold colour and aromas of honeyed apricots, white flowers, ginger and orange marmalade, with a sweetness perfectly offset by the vibrant acidity characteristic of the Barsac terroir. The botrytis levels reached in 2009 create a wine of exceptional richness and clarity.
