Merchant's description

Château de Pommard is one of Burgundy's most storied estates — a walled 20-hectare monopole in the heart of Pommard, farmed biodynamically and now making wines that match the drama of the address. The "75 Rangs" is named for the 75 rows of old vines within the Clos Marey-Monge, the estate's historic single vineyard. It's a village-level wine, but one with serious intent: the fruit comes from old vines on classic iron-rich, limestone-clay soils, and the winemaking keeps things transparent — natural fermentation, careful extraction, minimal new oak. The 2021 vintage in Burgundy was a nervy one, frost and mildew trimming yields dramatically, but the wines that made it through are precise and pure.
