Merchant's description
Encompassing about 12 hectares, Clos René boasts a vineyard planted with approximately 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Malbec, proportions that are typically reflected in the final wine. Fully mature, the 1982 is a gloriously decadent Pomerol from one of the great vintages from the last century. Everything is integrated and silky-smooth with excellent depth and balance.
