Merchant's description
Situated in Pernand-Vergelesses, Domaine Bonneau du Martray is the only estate in Burgundy to make wines exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, Corton and Corton-Charlemagne. In 2017 the property was acquired by American businessman Stanley Kroenke, who also owns Screaming Eagle in Napa Valley. The 1999 Corton-Charlemagne is a beautifully mature, full-bodied wine, revealing notes of rich tropical fruits, citrus, hints of acacia and spices.
