Merchant's description

Domaine Bonneau du Martray is a highly regarded wine producer located in Pernand-Vergelesses, in the Côte de Beaune. The estate has a long history, dating back to the Roman era, and is currently owned by American businessman Stanley Kroenke, whose portfolio also includes Screaming Eagle in Napa Valley. It is the only estate in Burgundy to make wines exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, Corton and Corton-Charlemagne. The 2011 vintage in Burgundy was characterized by a relatively early harvest, with good ripening conditions for the grapes.
