Côte-Rôtie Bassenon Cuilleron 2021 is a single-vineyard red wine from the Côte-Rôtie appellation. The wine is crafted from a 1.5-hectare vineyard situated on the steep, south-facing slopes of the Côteau de Semons in the Tupin-Semons commune. The vineyard`s soils are a blend of granite and gneiss, contributing to the wine’s distinctive profile. This cuvée is predominantly Syrah with a small percentage of Viognier. Ageing occurs over 18 months in oak barrels, 50% of which are new. The Cuilleron estate has a rich heritage of winemaking in the northern Rhône and is renowned as one of the region`s leading producers.
