The 2010 bottling is 93% Syrah and 7% Viognier sourced from seven of the most exceptional plots of the estate’s holdings on the Côte Blonde and Côte Brune. This is a sensational release just emerging into its prime drinking window. It is fabulously rich and full-bodied, offering up delicious notes of cassis, blackberry, prune, liquorice, vanilla, woodsmoke and wild herbs. Tannic and muscular on the palate, this will benefit from extended decanting.
