Echézeaux Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 1990 is a Grand Cru red wine from Vosne-Romanée, produced from the domaine’s holdings in Les Cruots and Champs Traversins. The hot, dry season yielded small berries of great concentration, vinified with whole clusters and long élevage in fine-grained oak. Aromas of ripe cherry, dried rose and sous-bois are layered with truffle, game and gentle spice. The palate is silken yet structured, its tannins resolved but still present, carrying deep, sweet fruit through a savoury, mineral core.
