Originally formed in 1933, Georges Mugneret-Gibourg is a celebrated wine producer based in the Côte de Nuits. The estate is not only known for its Grand Crus but also for high-quality and age-worthy village-level wines from Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée. This release hails from two parcels in Échezeaux, Les Rouges du Bas and Les Quartiers de Nuits, both with a deep soil consisting of gravel and silt. The red wines from the 2006 vintage have developed considerably since their first tasting and are now an absolute delight.
