Echézeaux Mugneret-Gibourg 1995 is a Grand Cru red wine from Vosne-Romanée, drawn from the family’s parcel in Les Rouges du Bas. The vintage’s moderate warmth and firm tannic structure produced wines of depth and longevity, expressed here with characteristic finesse. Aromas of red cherry, rose petal and sandalwood evolve toward truffle, earth and gentle spice. The palate is finely knit, its tannins now integrated yet still giving definition to the supple fruit. Acidity lends lift and balance, while the finish is long and composed.
