Calderara Sottana is a single vineyard wine produced only from vineyards between 50-100 years old with some of the stoniest soils found on Mt Etna. This blend of local varieties, Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Capuccio, is wonderfully complex and ethereal. It is possessive of delicious depth of fruit, captivating savoury mineral nuances and a charming rugged wildness – this is pure Etna Rosso.
