Merchant's description
Hailing from the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna, this Sicilian red is made from the native Nerello Mascalese variety, with vines aged between 70 - 100 years old. With its red-fruited, floral profile, the Nerello Mascalese variety is sometimes seen as the Sicilian take on Pinot Noir. The eye-catching label design is intended to convey the black of the lava stone, the red of the lava and the white of the snow capped volcano.
