This is a little jewel young but irresistible. From the heart of Italy's famous sparkling wine area Franciacorta the stunning Ferghettina estate is simply one of the best producers of this much acclaimed style of wine. Like Blancs de Blancs Champagne, Franciacorta is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes and aged for 36 months on its lees resulting in a remarkably fine wine with refined complex flavours. The striking pyramid shaped bottle may be the reason many people choose this gift and interestingly it was specially designed this way to give the wine greater complexity upon bottle aging beautifully balanced with vibrant fruit and freshness.
