Merchant's description

Recently promoted to the coveted spot of Premier Grand Cru Classé A, Château-Figeac is a highly regarded estate in the Saint-Émilion appellation. It is among the largest properties in the region, comprising 54 hectares in one single block, of which 41 hectares are vineyards. The 1995 vintage in Bordeaux was generally exceptional, and this applies to both the Left Bank and the Right Bank, including Saint-Émilion. The wines from this vintage have shown great aging potential and have developed beautifully over time.
