Merchant's description
Château Figeac is one of the finest producers in Saint-Émilion and is just one of fourteen properties classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé (B), putting it firmly in the highest echelons of the region. The 2000 release is an excellent wine now approaching full maturity. It is elegant, smooth and silky, with lovely notes of baked plum, fig, tobacco, truffle, liquorice and herbs.
