Merchant's description

Founded in 1709 by Romain de Filhot, the Château Filhot estate today spans an area of 350 hectares with 62 hectares of vineyard all along the south of the Sauternes village in the Sauternes appellation. This celebrated sweet wine is made from a blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. Expect beautiful botrytis character with notes of apricots and pineapples and sweetness well balanced by acidity.
