Finca Allende Rioja Blanco 2022 is a white Rioja crafted from 95% Viura and 5% Malvasía de Rioja. The grapes are sourced from 55-year-old bush-trained vines situated in Briones, characterised by gravelly clay soils that contribute to the wine’s structure. The 2022 vintage benefits from a warm growing season, resulting in an alcohol content of 13.5%. The grapes undergo fermentation in new French oak barrels and are matured for 14 months on their lees with regular batonnage. This process imparts a creamy texture while maintaining a mineral backbone. The wine demonstrates a balance of fruit and oak, culminating in a dry finish.
