Merchant's description

Jane Eyre is one of Gevrey-Chambertin's more intriguing small producers, working with fruit from the village appellation to make a Pinot Noir that leads with precision rather than volume. The 2022 vintage gave growers across the Côte de Nuits a generous hand — warm, dry conditions building real ripeness — but the best village Gevreys held onto their characteristic iron-and-earth backbone, and this one does exactly that.
