Domaine Duroché Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaut Saint-Jacques 2023 is a Premier Cru red Burgundy from one of the coolest sites in Gevrey, located at the mouth of the Combe de Lavaut. The 2023 release is characterised by its chiselled structure and notes of crunchy red fruit, crushed stones and white flowers. Pierre Duroché uses very little new oak, allowing the intense mineral drive of the rocky soil to lead the palate. The wine is precise and energetic, offering a level of focus and longevity that rivals many Grand Crus.
