Owned and run by the legendary Lalou Bize-Leroy, Maison Leroy is one strand of the Leroy group, which also includes Domaine Leroy and Domaine d’Auvenay. The négociant business is based in Auxey-Duresses and was originally founded in 1868 by François Leroy, winemaker and owner of vines in prime sites such as Meursault, Pommard, Chambertin, Musigny, Clos Vougeot and Richebourg. This Gevrey-Chambertin is from the 2015 vintage, a quite spectacular year for Burgundy.
