Giscours 2015 is a blend comprising 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, matured in 50% new oak barrels. Châteaux Giscours is a historical estate in the Margaux appellation. Winemaker Alexandre Van Beek notes that this vintage is reminiscent of the great wines from the 1960s and 1970s. The wine displays aromas of blackberry, cedar and a hint of graphite, while the palate offers medium-bodied structure with defined tannins and a persistent finish.
