Merchant's description
Château Haut-Batailley is a Fifth Growth wine producer situated in the Pauillac appellation. In 2017 the entire estate was acquired by the Cazes family, owners of Château Lynch Bages, also situated in Pauillac. This release is the 1989 vintage, a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. It is an elegant, mature wine, with lovely notes of blackcurrant and cedar.
