`Château Léoville Barton is an exceptionally popular 2ème Grand Cru Classé property in Saint-Julien well-known for producing classically styled, Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant wines with a superb track record for ageing. The 2008 release is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Notes of candied plums, apricots and spices carry through on a silky palate with suave tannins.
