There is a vogue for Apassimento wines in Italy and this wine achieves a similar weight and depth without the addition of dried grapes. Exceptionally ripe grapes are the key for this Barbera sourced from old vines and matured in oak this is special. With notes of intense black cherry and bramble compote, this is like a bearhug in wine form - just lovely.
