Krug 1989 is part of the House’s unique trilogy of three exceptional years. 1988, 1989, and 1990. The wine has a complex aroma profile, consisting of honey, white-fleshed fruits, truffles, earthy and yeasty notes, plus a subtle nuttiness in the background. The palate is bright and youthful, filled with pears, green apples, citrus fruits, marmalade, fresh figs and a touch of earth. Long finish, with undertones of minerality and spices.
