Merchant's description
Château Langoa Barton is a Third Growth wine producer situated within the Saint-Julien appellation. The vineyard extends over an area of approximately 20 hectares, planted to the main Bordeaux black grapes. This is the 2008 vintage of its Grand Vin, a blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, aged in 60% new oak barrels. 2008 was a particular good vintage for Cabernet Sauvignon, which enjoyed an exceptionally long ripening time.
