First appearing in the 1988 vintage, Le Petit Cheval is the second wine of illustrious Saint-Émilion estate, Château Cheval Blanc. It is produced mostly from declassified wine from the Grand Vin that is blended with other selected parcels. The vintage of 2011 is marked by its diversity and extremity, yet in this instance, everything exhibits excellent harmony. A delightful blend of dark fruit and wood spices characterizes the profile, showcasing unexpected concentration for a second wine. The structure is upheld by refined to medium tannins.
