Here is the second label from Château Léoville-Las Cases, the Second Growth estate situated in the Saint-Julien appellation. Le Petit Lion du Marquis de Las Cases began with the 2007 vintage and is very highly rated in its own right. The 2019 vintage is a blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc. It’s a nicely concentrated wine, revealing notes of dark berries, plums, pencil shavings and loamy soil.
