Château Léoville-Barton 1999 is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based Bordeaux red wine from the esteemed Second Growth of Château Léoville-Barton in St-Julien. This quintessential claret is produced mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller proportions of Merlot grown on the gravelly clay soils in the east of St-Julien. The wine is typically matured in 50% new oak for 18 months. On the 1999 vintage.
