Merchant's description

Though hard to believe possible, Château Léoville Las Cases produced an exceptional wine in 1986 that many consider to be of almost equal stature to the extraordinary 1982. It is a classic blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, offering the perfect distillation of its Pauillac terroir, with notes of black fruits, cedar, tobacco, spices and graphite. Though ideal for drinking now, this may well yet still have another decade of life left in it.
