' #html-body [data-pb-style=Q912TWN]{justify-content:flex-start;display:flex;flex-direction:column;background-position:left top;background-size:cover;background-repeat:no-repeat;background-attachment:scroll} Founded in the heart of south west France, Plaimont's vineyard holdings cover a mix of terroirs, from the foothills of the Pyrenees to the rolling hills of Gascony. Founded in the 1970s when Andre Dubosc - a third-generation wine grower - set out to build the reputation of the wines from his part of South-West France; many other passionate young winegrowers and smaller wineries joined the cooperative to support its development. Plaimont also acquired the region's finest chateaux and estates (Chateau de Sabazan, Chateau Saint-Go, Monastère de Saint-Mont, Chateau Arricau-Bordes, Chateau Bois Mathieu et Chateau de Cassaigne) with a view to rebuilding iconic vineyards and giving new impetus to the region. Their vineyards now cover in excess of 5,000 hectares and 5 wine denominations. '
