First created in 1876 for the Tsar of Russia, Cristal is the flagship champagne of Louis Roederer that has become synonymous with luxury. This is a rare bottle of the 2006 vintage, a blend composed of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from Grand Cru, low-yielding vines. The champagne is drinking beautifully right now. It exudes richness and potency, with a creamy and multi-layered character. Expect delightful toasty notes and abundant yeasty nuances. In addition, it offers hints of preserved citrus and red fruits. The fine bubbles are exceptionally small, and the finish imparts a distinct chalky quality.
