Founded in 1776 and based in Reims, France, Louis Roederer is one of the few remaining independent, family-owned Champagne producers. The Maison is known for its dedication to quality, sustainable and organic viticulture. The Louis Roederer Vintage 2015 is a blend of Pinot Noir (58%) and Chardonnay (42%) sourced from the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs regions, respectively. The wine is aged for 4 years on the lees and then an additional 6 months in the bottle after disgorgement. Expect notes of ripe fruit, brioche and honey, as well as a fine, delicate mousse.
