Marcassin is an exceptionally small boutique winery owned and run by one of the most influential and acclaimed winemakers in California, Helen Turley. Just 225 cases of the 1999 Marcassin Vineyard Chardonnay were produced and this epic wine is now approaching its absolute peak for drinking. It is full-bodied, rich and wonderfully defined with notes of zesty citrus rind, butter, lanolin, grilled nuts and liquid minerals. It is multi-layered and remarkably complex yet displays exceptional purity and seamless balance.
