Merchant's description

Est. delivery in Spring, 2027 Mas de Daumas Gassac is the wine that rewrote the rules for the Languedoc. Aimé Guibert planted Cabernet Sauvignon in the Gassac valley in the 1970s when everyone told him the south of France was for bulk production, and the resulting rouge became one of France's cult bottles — sometimes called the Grand Cru of the Languedoc, though that label undersells how singular this place really is. The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon with a cast of supporting varieties, all grown on a remarkable glacial flour deposit that keeps the vines cool and the wines finer than their latitude should allow.
