Cellar for up to 4 years. Serve chilled. This striking Prosecco is the work of the Pasqua family who have been trading wines in Verona since 1925. In celebration of the city’s legendary association with Romeo and Juliet, as well as the care and passion with which they make their wines, they decided to create a whole range of wines inspired by love. That’s why they’ve chosen these striking labels which feature original photos of messages scrawled by modern lovers on the walls in the courtyard where Juliet supposedly waited for her lover. The family sources Glera grapes for this bottling from the Treviso region where conditions are ideal for making light and refreshing sparkling wines. It is made using the Charmat method of fermenting the wine in sealed tanks and bottling the wine under pressure to create small, elegant bubbles and an easy-going flavour profile. Hints of green apple, pear and citrus dominate the flavour profile along with a refreshing acidity and pure, clean finish. Bursting with energy and vibrancy, this is a fantastic wine to share with all your loved ones as an aperitif or partner for seafood, canapes, leafy summer salads, grilled fish, or creamy and aged cheeses.
