Lucien Le Moine Pernand-Vergelesses Sous Frétille 2009 is a medium-bodied white wine from the Premier Cru climat of Sous Frétille in the Côte de Beaune. Based in Beaune, Lucien Le Moine is the prestigious négociant business run by the husband-and-wife team Mounir Saouma and Rotem Brakin, both of Lebanese origin. Their mission is to produce expressive, terroir-driven wines of exceptional purity. All the wines are sourced after fermentation and are focused on the élévage period of winemaking. This particular release hails from Sous Frétille, the larger of three vineyards clustered around the village of Pernand-Vergelesses that were granted Premier Cru status in 2000.
